One Year Later...

Yes! I have finally updated this blog after a year with some new and old completed artworks. Currently I am working on a Naruto fan artwork piece and there will be other things pending after my exam (which is tomorrow =P) .

For starters, I plan on starting another big art piece based on Luo Guanzhong's 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' which may take my entire holidays, or even a whole year to complete. I am also currently holding a contest on the deviantArt 'Wheel of Time' group and will be doing commissions for the winners of that contest...so it'll be pretty busy. Hopefully I will be able to update this blog more often with the upcoming works. In the meantime, I'll treat everyone with the most recent artwork of Zhuge Liang a.k.a Kong Ming from Romance of the Three Kingdoms:

I've noticed that I have a lot of artworks, and I don't seem to update this blog often enough at all. So to try and keep it with the present, I'm uploading a couple of artworks I've been working on and have yet to finish.

First off is some original character work for a project of mine called 'The Guardians of Zephyr'. Don't ask me what it's all about though, cause I have yet to fully clarify that in my head =P

Second thing I need to finish is a Greek mythology piece that I started; I was inspired by news of a remake of Clash of the Titans...and then when I watched the movie and realised how badly done it was, I got demotivated =P But I do plan to finish this piece, since I've always wanted to do my own interpretations of Greek mythological gods, goddesses and heroes. The WIP title for this, and possibly the final title later, is 'Rise of the Olympians'

Thirdly is this art piece that I started late last year, and still haven't finished because of a lack of motivation. I recall churning out A LOT of individual character portraits for this during the earlier half of my summer holidays and it killed my back, so that's why I've stopped for a bit. It is a Star Wars fan artwork, containing major characters from the film saga as well as from the Knights of the Old Republic game series, and from the expanded universe. The title for this one is 'Star Wars: Legends and Legacies'

Heart and Soul: Disney Heroines Series

Finally completed the Disney Heroines series that I started a month ago. The idea to reinterpret female Disney character designs came to my head some time at the start of the year, after I completed 'The Ballad of Mulan' piece. I may plan to do a Disney Heroes piece and a Disney Villains piece sometime later on.

Here's my most recent drawing of Belle from Disney's Beauty and the Beast. Not the most proportional thing I've drawn; the arm of the chair is very off because I got lazy, and her left arm looks strange. Otherwise, I'm quite pleased with it
